No. Avalanche is in use by thousands of customers around the world to manage their Windows devices, Zebra printers and earlier Android devices. The platform continues to be supported for these devices - this announcement deprecates Avalanche support for Android Enterprise only.
I have Android devices being managed by Avalanche. Are these devices no longer supported?
No, this announcement is regarding Android Enterprise only. Android Enterprise is a newer management platform embedded in Android devices but is very quickly becoming the only method to manage these devices.
Which devices support Android Enterprise?
Most new Android devices being shipped today are Android Enterprise ready. Support for Android Enterprise began with Android 6 and more capabilities are added with each release.
What happens to my Ivanti Avalanche licenses if I switch to Ivanti Neurons for MDM

Do I need to move all of my devices at once?
No, we can support customers as they migrate at their own pace, with a variety of purchase options.
I already enrolled my Android Enterprise devices in Avalanche. Are these no longer supported?
If you already have Android Enterprise devices enrolled in Avalanche these will continue to be supported as long as they remain on the same version of Android. Newer devices are not supported, and new Android Enterprise deployments will not be possible on the Avalanche platform.
I have a lot of Android devices running the AOSP version of Android. Are these still supported?
You are most likely using one of our hardware vendor specific Android agents, like our Zebra enabler. This management method is still supported on Avalanche
